WW - Chopard Mille Miglia Chronometer, automatic, 44mm including crown guards x 50mm to lug tips, 21mm lug width, original stainless steel screwed back exhibition case with fixed black minutes bezel, still retains all of the original factory plastic, rubber tire tread strap and stainless steel deployant signed Chopard, original black dial with applied silver indices inset with luminous material, red accents along perimeter, wind indicator at 9, date aperture at 3, 40J cal 01.08-C, s#4095308, triple signed. Includes original inner and outer boxes as well as hang tag, no paperwork however the hang tag and outer box have the model number and matching serial number. The watch was made to commemorate the yearly road race in Italy, the Mille Miglia. This race traces its roots back to 1927 when it was a competitive race for grand touring models. Since 1977, it was reborn as a regularity race for classic and vintage cars. Participation is limited to cars produced no later than 1957 which had attended (or were registered to) the original race. It's not an uncommon sight to see former Formula 1 and professional race car drivers competing with regular enthusiasts.

Mvt: Running, wind indicator functions properly, flawless cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; flawless dial; mint hands; unpolished case shows no wear, retains all of the original factory plastic, no dents or dings; original signed crown shows no wear; mint sapphire crystals. Inner and outer boxes show hardly any wear.
